Rosey Strong, M.A., LMHC, LPC
Rosemary "Rosey" Strong has a Master's in Counseling Psychology, spending almost a decade in the field; supervising pre-licensed interns, presenting and training parents and staff in several topic areas. She specializes in: somatic therapy, memory retrieval, inner child work, trauma and anxiety. To add, Rosey has worked with all ages! Her experience has been with foster and at-risk youth, military families, homeless families, couples, children, groups and adult individuals. She approaches any variety of struggle, is strength-based and emotionally-focused. Her philosophy stems from the personal understanding that repression of thoughts and feelings cause ripples into the present. She helps others truly become aware and puts in the steps for the client to heal from the past, without getting stuck there. She is truly transformative and is licensed in both Hawaii and Colorado.
Raised in Upstate New York, she has spent the years 2010-2022 in Hawaii, and has recently relocated to Colorado to pursue a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision after receiving her Masters in Hawaii in 2013. Rosey enjoys; dancing, hiking, reading, learning, being near the water as well as spending time with her (extra adorable) Yorkie dog.
