Malisa is a psychotherapist and a licensed intervention specialist. EMDR trained and Harvard trained mindfulness in clinical practice. Registered MFTC in Colorado and MFT-TEMP in Ohio. Former Dean of Stamford International University and former teacher of many educational institutions. She has a Master in Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) from Campbellsville University and Doctor in Education (Ed.D) from Northeastern University. Additionally, she is a prepared enriched facilitator who helps couples identify their relationship strengths, gain understanding about the underlying dynamics that influence their communication, and help them develop skills to improve their growth areas.
With more than 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adolescents, and families. Malisa understands the many life challenges
individuals face. Her passion is to help others unlock their full potential.
Malisa offers individual, couple, family, and group counseling in both English and Thai. She primarily provide remote counseling. In her practice, she utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to assist her clients,
including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques, MRI (Mental Research Institute) approaches, Genogram analysis, Narrative therapy, collaborative approaches, psychoeducation, as well as art and play therapy.
Throughout her lifetime, Malisa have had the opportunity to live and work in many countries and interact with individuals from diverse background and, cultures, and religious identities.
