Lucy Ruiz is a dedicated Master of Social Work student whose passion for advocacy and mental health support guides her work with individuals, families, and youth. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is committed to providing culturally responsive care and creating accessible support for diverse communities. She brings valuable experience supporting people with severe mental health diagnoses as they navigate the criminal justice system, along with a strong background in child protection services and helping families engage with complex social service systems.
 

Lucy has also facilitated and co-facilitated group therapy sessions with youth where she prioritizes creating safe and supportive spaces that foster growth, resilience, and connection. Her professional interests include mental health, trauma-informed care, and working with both youth and adults as they move through challenging life experiences. Driven, compassionate, and committed to equity, Lucy approaches her work with a strengths-based and trauma-informed lens.
