Her approach is behavioral and decisions based. She believes the only thing we can control in this life is how we react to experiences we have. She has worked most of her professional career with at risk families, incarcerated youth, and parolees trying to assimilate back into society. She has extensive volunteer work conducting grief, loss, recovery, and wellness groups.

Her B.S. in psychology was earned at the University of Northern Colorado and she has continued her graduate studies and certifications through Colorado State University and Colorado Christian College. Outside of work, Kasandra enjoys her family life including her husband and four year-old son. Missing from her life is a beautiful late son who died at age 13 months. This loss became the reasoning she started her path into becoming a therapist. This loss and her subsequent personal experiences with grief have lent themselves to her extreme understanding of recovery and has contributed to her powerful healing methods.
