Kara LeDuc, Intern
Kara is a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling currently completing her internship at S.A.LT. Wellness Group.
She brings a strong understanding of the brain–behavior connection, which
supports her thoughtful and integrative approach to working with clients.
Kara takes a trauma-informed, client-centered, and solution-focused approach and draws from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, and create meaningful change.
She has a strong interest in working with those affected by trauma and substance use, and also values a holistic perspective. Kara believes in the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and gently incorporates practices like meditation, mindful breathing, and connection to nature to support nervous system regulation and a greater sense of calm and safety.
Kara strives to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered in their growth.
