Courtney Kirschten, LPCC

Courtney has her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is working toward her Ph.D. in Health Psychology. She is passionate about the connections between mind, body, and spirit and how those systems interact with the outer world. Courtney has worked with all ages and specializes in relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, and phase-of-life adjustments. Her eclectic approaches are tailored to her client's unique needs, strengths, and goals. She integrates a person-centered approach with concrete tools to assist clients in unveiling the roots of issues and developing new tools to grow the inner garden of their dreams. IFS, CBT, DBT, ACT, strengths-based, family systems, and narrative/exposure therapies are examples of orientations Courtney pulls from to help understand and attend to your needs.
She is Gottman level I trained and is a certified clinical trauma professional. Courtney truly believes that you are the expert on you- and that therapy is a collaborative effort where the therapist uses their tools and training to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.
