Ciara Hayes (she/her) is a Master of Social Work student who brings a calm, grounded, and compassionate presence to her work with clients. Before entering the social work field, Ciara served in the military and worked as an EMT, experiences that strengthened her ability to remain steady in crisis and support individuals facing significant emotional and medical challenges. She has also spent more than a decade in outdoor education, including facilitating military resilience workshops for Wounded Warriors, guiding rock climbing, and leading week-long backcountry expeditions for youth.
 
Outside of work, Ciara enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible through rock climbing, gardening, camping, and travel. When indoors, she can usually be found reading, solving puzzles, or exploring creative arts.
 
Ciara works with clients of all ages and is committed to creating a space where people feel safe, understood, and comfortable being themselves. She especially enjoys working with adolescents and adults, with particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, people navigating disability or complex medical conditions, and military-affiliated clients who value a therapist familiar with that culture. Her collaborative, strengths-based approach helps clients navigate loneliness, disconnection, and life's challenges while building greater resilience, stability, and meaningful connection.
