Cameron Albee (he/him) is a top-of-his-class graduate of Purdue University Global’s Master of Science in Psychology program, specializing in substance use, process, and behavioral addictions. More importantly, Cameron is passionate about helping people get to the root of psychological concerns through a trauma-focused, deeply empathetic approach. Using specialized trauma-focused techniques such as cognitive processing therapy and brainspotting, he explores historical and acute trauma and how they impact neuropsychological wellbeing and quality of functioning. He understands how addictive, compulsive, and compensatory patterns can take hold and uses a whole-person, biopsychosocial perspective to guide clients toward meaningful, lasting recovery.

 

Cameron also specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating, supporting individuals across the full spectrum of care—from acute inpatient settings to outpatient therapy. He feels a deep connection to those working to reclaim peace with food, body image, and self-acceptance, and is committed to walking alongside clients as they rediscover balance and joy.

Sessions with Cameron often include a little extra support from his Golden Retriever, Finn, and his Calico cat, Josie, both of whom are excellent listeners (and, of course, strictly HIPAA-compliant!). A strong advocate for animal-assisted therapy, he welcomes the healing presence of pets during virtual sessions as well.

Cameron is currently pursuing a multi-licensure under the supervision of Catherine Ocasio and Laura Brassie. He offers Telehealth sessions in Colorado and Massachusetts and provides specialized psychodiagnostic assessments during client intake sessions.
