Cameron Albee, M.S.

Cameron Albee (he/him/his) recently completed his Master of Science in Psychology from Purdue University Global, specializing in process and substance use addictions. A graduate cum laude of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Albee transitioned into psychology to establish and cultivate a career in client-focused care. He takes particular interest in treating and contributing to the developing research regarding trauma, the unique needs of the LGBTQIA+ population, personality and mood disorders, eating disorders, medication- and psychedelic-assisted therapies, and animal-assisted therapy.
 

His approach aligns with elements of existential, psychodynamic, Rogerian, and Gestalt therapies, along with incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, reparenting, and somatic processing. Albee intends to pursue his PsyD in clinical psychology focusing on trauma-centered care.

 

Albee is almost always seen with his Golden Retriever, Finn, his closest companion and therapeutic assistant (with occasional appearances by his cat, Josie). He is an avid traveler in his spare time and plans to visit all seven continents; his highlights thus far have been Italy, Scotland, Germany, and Czech Republic. He enjoys live music events and festivals, hiking, yoga, meditation, running,and expanding his culinary knowledge.

Cameron sees clients by telehealth only in Colorado and Massachusetts.
