Amanda Fitzpatrick, Intern
With five years of experience in crisis work, Amanda can help support through life's hard times. She enjoys working with adolescents as well as adults. Amanda considers her style to be eclectic, but most heavily leans on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and a strength-based approach. In a collaborative manner, you can expect sessions with Amanda to invite you to work alongside one another to help you figure out your next steps, while also working through the hard stuff in a way that is empowering.
Amanda holds a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and has spent her career to this point in community crisis and residential treatment centers for addiction and severe and persistent mental illness. Her particular interests are in anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, eating disorders, and life transitions. She is currently in her final stages of her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, from Liberty University.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her beloved pre-teen son and cat.
Amanda sees clients in-person and by telehealth in Colorado.
