Alex Bodie, BA, MSW, intern (she/they)
Alex is an Ohio native and grew up an hour southeast of Cleveland. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication from the University of Toledo in 2013. In 2021, she began her Masters in Social Work at the University of Northern Iowa with an anticipated graduation in May 2024.
Over the last decade, Alex has exclusively worked with nonprofits to serve children, individuals, older adults, families, and communities. Alex has a trauma-informed, somatic lens and walks alongside you as a support honoring that people are the experts of their own lives. Her approaches include expressive arts, nature-based activities, and movement for healing.
Alex has trained in a body-centered trauma healing process with Dr. Matthew Vasquez and invites clients to explore the idea that healing doesn’t have to be so hard.
